Thundershits currently has no central database. The bowel-movement information you enter is stored only in your browser on this device.
What the app stores
The tracker saves the date, time and selected Bristol Stool Scale type in your browser’s local storage. This lets your history remain available when you return using the same browser profile.
What the app does not do
- It does not upload your entries to a Thundershits database.
- It does not synchronize entries between your devices.
- It does not send the contents of imported CSV files to a server.
- It does not sell or share your stool history.
CSV import and export
CSV files are created and read directly by your browser. Importing a CSV adds valid, non-duplicate records to local storage on the current device. Downloaded files are outside the app and should be stored or shared carefully.
Who can see local entries?
Someone using the same device and browser profile may be able to open the tracker and view its history. Private browsing, clearing site data, changing browsers or resetting the device may remove or make those entries unavailable.
Hosting information
The hosting service may process ordinary technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as requests, authentication and operational logs. The tracker does not intentionally place your bowel-movement entries into those requests.
How to remove your entries
Delete individual entries with the × button, or erase the complete history stored by this site in the current browser. Download a CSV first if you want a backup.
